Young Creators Collective is a free monthly creative arts series designed to engage youth and teens (ages 8–19) through hands-on creative experiences that encourage self-expression, creative problem-solving, and entrepreneurship. Each workshop introduces participants to a new artistic medium while providing opportunities to create, explore, and take home finished projects.

*Select Young Creators Collective workshops will include optional badge-aligned activities for participating Girl Scout troops.

8/29- Paper Lab: Portraits & Plants

Participants will create layered cut-paper self-portraits using shape, color, and composition, or create 2D or 3D paper plants inspired by the plants and natural environment at Halperin Park.

Girl Scout badge alignment opportunity: Daisy Art and Design & Outdoor Art Maker; Brownie Art and Design; Junior Outdoor Art Explorer.
